Please Help Us Achieve Our Dreams

Ice dancing is very hard work. It requires steadfast dedication, passion, discipline...and money. Jessica and Dean need your support.

Our goal for the 2008 - 2009 competition season is to qualify for the 2009 U.S. Junior Championships . We are hoping to skate our best and once again be among the top 10 Juvenile Dance Teams in the USA!

One universal rule in skating is, “The better you are, the more expensive it is.” That’s we are hoping to find corporate and personal sponsorships from our community.

Our expenses for the 2008-2009 season will include ice time, coaching fees, personal trainer fees, ball room dancing instruction, costumes, skates and travel and hotel expenses for the competitions we will be attending. If you would like to see our projected expenses for this ice dance season you can see them below in the "Questions you may have" section.

A training fund has been set up for Jessica DeMaria and Dean Miller at the New England Amateur Skating Foundation (NEASF). All donations made on behalf of Jessica DeMaria and Dean Miller to the NEASF are tax-deductible under 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The full amount of each donation will go directly to paying for our skating expenses.

If you would like to speak with us about becoming a sponsor or contributing to our training fund, you can email us at info@icedancerz.com.

Thank you very much for your consideration.

Here are the answers to some questions you may have....

It depends on the team and what they are willing to spend on training. Some of the things that go into a season of training and competitions are ice time, coaching fees, off ice training, costumes, skates and travel and lodging for the team, their parents and coaches.

If you are interested in seeing our projected expenses for this season you can download a copy of it here.

100% of your donation goes to defray the skating expenses of the competitors.

The NEASF charges no fees and there are no deductions of any kind. Volunteers pay all of the operating expenses of the Foundation.

All donations are used to help the skaters.

Tax deductible donations may be received both from individuals and corporations.

The monies collected are then used to defray the skating-related expenses such as ice time, coaching fees, choreographers, and costumes, off ice training, equipment and travel.

The NEASF Allocations Committee reviews its information about a skater and allocates funds accordingly. The information reviewed includes comments and recommendations of clubs, professionals and donors, as well as the experience and competitive level of the skater.

The skater must submit their bill or bills signed by the skater as well as there skating professional (coach). If the skater is under 18 years of age, the bill(s) must be signed by a parent and skating professional (coach). Payment is made directly to the vendor or provider of services.

The New England Amateur Skating Foundation is a tax-exempt organization organized under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Donations, therefore, are usually deductible.

You should consult with your tax accountant or advisor as to how your contribution is to be treated.
